I built a portfolio template you can actually own

I’ve been working on a portfolio template that I wanted to be a little different from the usual “download this theme and figure everything out yourself” kind of thing.

So I built one.

The idea is simple:

Get a complete portfolio, make it yours, and take the whole thing with you.

Why I built it

A lot of portfolio templates look great in a screenshot but become annoying the moment you actually try to use them.

You have to find where the content lives, change a bunch of code, configure deployment, replace placeholder data, and eventually end up spending more time maintaining the template than working on your portfolio.

I wanted to remove most of that friction.

The template is built around the idea that your portfolio should be something you own and operate, rather than something you continuously depend on a platform to host or manage.

What's included

• An admin editor for changing content without touching the code

• A repository that you can own and modify however you want

The goal is to get from “I need a portfolio” to “here's my portfolio” as quickly as possible.

How it works

You start by adding your details and choosing how you want the site to look.

Once you get the template, the configuration is already set up for you.

From there, you can change your content through the admin editor instead of opening the codebase every time you want to update something.

And because you get the source code, you're not locked into the original design either.

Change it.

Break it.

Rebuild it.

Make it completely yours.
